My Sunshine Smile

Light as a Sparrow caught in a breeze,
With a smile like sun after a cloudy day.
A bright little soul with a golden heart,
And a sweet, determined way.
Eyes the color of a blue-grey storm cloud
That dance, and sparkle, and shine.
Filled with wonder and joyous amazement
Of every "treasure" that she finds.
Those two small arms wrapped around so tightly
Would always be the jewels I chose.
